Love And Gratitude
Our greatest gift to humanity is love. Through the power of love our planet is changing. At times it does not look like it is changing for the good. Remember when you shine a light in a dark place it might look ugly but as your light continues to shine brightly even those places of darkness will start to resemble beauty.
It is time to realize that our every thought, word, and action means so much. All that we say and do, have a purpose, a meaning, and a profound affect on the whole, we are all one, all connected.
Why don’t more people realize this? Especially when it comes to acts of un-kindness. When we hurt others we are also hurting ourselves.
What if our whole purpose on this planet is to achieve oneness through love? Most of us have been trying to achieve this for thousands of years or since time began. What’s stopping us from achieving this? Our Ego, our humanness, or could it be a fear of the unknown?
What would it be like if all we say and do is not just for ourselves, but for all? It is hard for our ego’s to let go of the control and be one. Our very instinct for personal survival may be playing a big hand in preventing this, and bringing peace to our world. In order to be one means we no longer exist in the way we exist now. That doesn’t equate to us one day abruptly metamorphosing into some alien form! Although it does require a change in our level of gratitude, first for ourselves, then for others.
When we understand that we are connected to all, it does not mean we have to be associated with others who aren’t on the same path as us. Some might have different values than we do, try not to judge. Remember we can not control every situation but we can control how we respond. Sometimes in order to see what works in a particular situation we need to be reminded of what does not work.
On this journey in life what is most important to learn, is love. Love is what we came here for. Once we can truly experience unconditional love for all living things from the depths of our souls we have truly reached the only reason for our existence.
Sounds so simple in words but what happens! Our egos most probably are the cause of not accomplishing this feat.
How do we start our journey in love? I feel in order to love others we first have to love ourselves. Once we are able to love ourselves unconditionally we then can start to love all.
Learn to be grateful and appreciate all that life has given you. Gratitude is one of those words that you don’t hear enough enough. It is a word that can do magic when it comes to changing your attitude or the attitude of others. Showing gratitude makes others want to do better and gives hope that what they are doing means something.
Love is very powerful; actually there is no greater power on earth. If only we could convince others who are always looking for power that they are looking in all the wrong places. They hurt many for their own lust of trying to have more power. They don’t understand what it is that would give them true power.
It is so simple; love is it. If we achieve love we achieve all. Love is the greatest power in the universe.
